Do i have to make an appointment to try on your wedding dresses?
The Wedding Collective operates on a By Appointment basis only. By booking a consultation, we can focus on providing a personal and exceptional bridal experience. At this time, walk-ins are not permitted but feel free to give us a call if you are interested in a same-day consultation.

Do i have to pay for the consultation beforehand?
Yes please, our online booking system will show all the available time slots for the date that you choose to book.
After your time slot selection you will be taken to on online secure payment gateway.
Once payment has been made, your booking is confirmed and you will receive an invoice via email.
what happens during the consultation?
Your TWC Bridal Stylist will discuss your wedding style, vibe and wedding dress ideas before you start trying on wedding dresses.
Your budget and dress requirements will also be discussed. Recommendations will be made regarding fit, silhouette, fabric type and dress colour during your fitting.
do you rent out your wedding dresses?
Yes we offer a rental option on many of our gorgeous wedding dress styles. Rental possibilities depend on if the sample fits you to a certain degree which would not require extensive alterations as we do not cut our Rental dresses during the alterations process. if the fabric is strong enough to endure multiple weddings, and if the dress is not already booked for your wedding date.
What is your order lead time?
We have a standard lead time of 6 months. We suggest starting your wedding dress shopping at least 8 months before your wedding date in order to give yourself enough time to choose and order your perfect wedding dress.
If you do not have 4 - 6 months to order a wedding dress do not worry, we can still help you!
Depending on your timeline you can still order a wedding dress but with an added Rush Fee of R2,500 or you can buy or rent a sample wedding dress off the rack.
We have helped brides in less than a week with a wedding dress, but leaving it so late is not recommended!
Do you charge for your consultations?
Yes, our consultation fee is R500 for an hour and a half fitting. You may try on as many dresses as you like during this time, we recommend trying on no more than 8 dresses as too many options can become overwhelming.
Our 2nd consultations are free on weekdays and R250 on Saturdays to secure the appointment, the cost will be deducted from your wedding dress order.
How many guests can I bring along to my fitting?
We can accommodate the bride plus a maximum of 2 guests at her wedding dress fitting.
When it comes to choosing a dress, more is not always merrier! Invite guests who understand your style, give supportive feedback, and will help you look your best. Hearing too many opinions can be overwhelming for even the most confident of brides, so keep the guest list short and sweet.
what is the price range of your wedding dresses?
Our wedding dress prices start from R26,000 - R60,000 for new orders with most in the R28,000 - R45,000 price range.
We have samples available to purchase off the rack from R20,000. We have a Rental Option on most dresses which start from R20,000.
How does payment for the wedding dress work?
Once you have said YES to the dress a 60% non-refundable deposit is required upon placement of your wedding dress order.
The balance of your dress is payable within 7 days of arrival at our bridal studio.
Do you offer an alteration service?
Yes we offer access to professional Alterations Services by the best seamstresses at an additional fee.
After you receive your wedding dress an appointment is booked with our seamstress who will determine the alterations necessary on your wedding dress.
You will be provided with a quote for the alterations needed, upon receipt of payment the alterations will be done.
We start with your alterations about 6 weeks before your wedding.
